Glamping & Alternative Accommodation

For over a decade Bondstones' team have been providing planning and design support to diversifying businesses and particularly those heading into the world of tourism accommodation and the "Glamping" sector.

For almost as long as the market has existed, we have worked alongside well known industry experts - and particularly our friends at Classic Glamping.  Together we have assisted site owners new and old - whether these are farmers, existing property owners or new entrants to the world of glamping & alternative accommodation - we've seen it and done it all!

While Bondstones and Classic are not directly affiliated - our mutual services dovetail neatly together to assist glamping entrepreneurs right at the start of their business planning.

Together we provide extremely effective and low cost advice - which has (we think) resulted in the creation of some of the very best alternative accommodation sites in the UK to date!  All of these sites, and more, can be found (and booked) at www.classicglamping.co.uk

Aside from working on countless projects across the southern UK (and some beyond) we have appeared at various shows and events over recent years.  The Bondstones and Classic Teams are well recognised in the industry and look forward to helping secure new sites and to facilitating improvements to existing holiday destinations.

As with all new planning and design enquiries, we are always happy to host an initial telephone discussion (on an FOC basis) to consider site constraints and any prospective planning issues that may obstruct your business plans.  If a proposal has merit and is likely to meet basic planning criteria, we will propose a visit to see the site with our own eyes and to give proper advice... Then, and only then, we'll move towards a planning application.

Bondstones is a regulated firm of Chartered Surveyors - specialising in change of use planning, Architectural Design and "Town & Country Planning" matters (with a core emphasis on "country"!).  Our head-office is based in the West-Country and we typically work in the geographical areas between Lands End and London.  However, on occasion, we also work further afield...

We are extremely proud to be 'Regulated by the RICS' - this means we are a professionally qualified and regulated practice - bound by a code of conduct, strict rules and regulations. This means that we will only undertake work which is directly within our field(s) of expertise and that we are also fully insured (both Professional Indemnity and Public / Employers Liability).

Our team are passionate about architecture and the countryside, its' sustainable future and re-use of rural buildings:  We offer our professional expertise to satisfy a range of rural property issues, including (but not limited to) Planning Consultancy and Architectural Design / Architecture.  Our primary interest is in the delivery of sustainable projects - and particularly the 'change of use' / modification of buildings & land.

Despite our cutting edge offer and market leading output, our services are available to all of our customers at surprisingly low rates - especially compared to our competitors.  OK, its true to say you will always find someone cheaper... but isn't that always the way!

Our philosophy is to provide objective advice from the outset - indeed may of our new clients are amazed at the level of advice that we offer at first contact... Our overriding mission is to "quote high and bill low - providing valuable advice and exceptional design - which should delight our clients at every opportunity"
